About

Prince William Family Counseling (PWFC) is the largest private outpatient psychological practice in Prince William County. PWFC has over 30 licensed clinicians practicing in two Manassas offices and one Woodbridge office. Here at PWFC, patients of all ages and ranges of difficulty are seen.

Specialty programs in addition to the expected individual, couples and family counseling are offered. These programs include two state licensed Intensive Outpatient Programs, one for adults and one for adolescent substance abusers. Another specialty program includes a state licensed supportive in-home program for providing instruction in daily living skills and promoting the welfare of the chronic psychiatrically disordered (Virginia Support Services, P.C.). The other specialty program is a state licensed intensive in-home program for children and adolescents (Virginia Home Based Counseling, P.C.). These latter programs have over 40 clinicians and are funded through Medicaid and local government funds, e.g., FAPT teams. Finally, PWFC offers a social skills program for children and teens (Social Achievers) and an Anger Management program.

Billing

Payment is expected at the time services are rendered if you are not covered under a health insurance plan. Co-pays are collected when you check in for your visit and must be paid at that time. PWFC has individual and facility contracts with all major and many lesser insurance companies, including but not limited to the following:
